This Slow Cooker Pear Apple Crisp recipe combines cinnamon, oats, over slow-cooked apples and pears to make an unbeatable fall dessert!

Fall is here, which means it's apple season! I love going apple picking at our local orchard because I love baking with apples. My favorite apple desserts are apple pie, apple butter, apple crumble…and this delicious Apple Pear Crisp!

This recipe is made in the slow cooker and, it just screams fall. I made it for our local potluck and it was gone in a flash. I like adding whipped cram or vanilla ice cream on top. It's one of those recipes that is delicious comfort food, making you feel cozy and warm!
The pears add such a delicious texture and flavor to the crisp.

I bake so much with apples, I never get a chance to use pears as much because they don't last that long in my house.
I think the pears really make this crisp over the top delicious!
Add the cinnamon and sugar together.
Sprinkle a small amount to cover the bottom of the slow cooker.
Next, add the sliced apples and pears.
Use the remaining cinnamon sugar mix to cover the apples and pears.
In a bowl, combine together flour, brown sugar, and oats.
Mix thoroughly.
Once completely mixed, add the stick of butter.
Using a fork or a pastry cutter, cut the butter into the mixture. It should be coarse crumbles.
Sprinkle the oat mixture over the top of the fruit.
Add a layer of paper towels over the top of the slow cooker and put the lid on.
The paper towels will absorb the extra moisture to help your crust.
Set the slow cooker for low and 2 hour cook time.
Once done remove the paper towels, lid and serve!

- Spray the slow cooker with non stick spray.
- Add the cinnamon and sugar together.
